Allison Bauer

Allison F. Bauer is a nationally recognized leader in health policy and strategic philanthropy. She is an accomplished legal and policy professional with success in identifying innovative solutions, leveraging opportunities, and advocating for systems and policy change. Prior to joining the Northeastern faculty, Allison was Director of the Bureau of Substance Addiction Services (BSAS) of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health.  Allison also served as the Staff Director and Chief Counsel for the Joint Committee on Mental Health & Substance Abuse in the Massachusetts House of Representatives.  She has almost 10 years of experience in philanthropy serving as a Senior Director for Health and Wellness Strategy at The Boston Foundation.
