Rafik Nader Wahbi is a first-year PhD student at the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health. He is interested in the ways the carceral system and drug policy are used to create and recreate racial hierarchies. Currently, Rafik works on projects related to Drug Induced Homicides and Civil Commitment.
